I will do edits now and again. I shall record details of the last 3 edits on the bottom of this page.
The first call for information on our relatives has been the geneology site 'familysearch.org'. This is an impressive geneology site and it is free to use. On that site you will find photographs of our relatives that are, in some cases, tagged to indicate the identity of the persons. Please register on familysearch.org and add your own information about our family. The system shows a username for the member that added the information. You can add memories for a person in the form of text, images or audio files.
On my site there will be many screengrabs from familysearch.org which will show the identity numbers of relatives which you can then use to search on familysearch.org for more information.
On the site you are now reading the relationships for the Childs ancestors are quoted as for Paul, Andrew, Stephen, Christine, Dorothy, Joan, Jimmy, Frankie and Stella. Adjust for your generation.
In other words - stuff that us living relatives can actually remember.

We do have some interesting people amongst our ancestors. I am not talking of mere knights of the realm. Of course this is assuming that no serious mistakes have been made in building the tree. The family tree has been compiled mostly by others (distant relatives) and resides on familysearch.org
This will give details of places to visit that have a link with our ancestors.
On this page. I will put notes concerning the accuracy of the information used to build the tree.
